$1 Million Settlement in Chicago Medical Malpractice Lawsuit Alleging a Failure to Diagnose and Properly Treat Tumor
The Chicago Medical Malpractice Lawsuit alleged that doctors surgically removed a maxillary tumor known as an “ameloblastoma,” but failed to clear the margins. A residual tumor recurred, which had to be surgically removed requiring removal of additional teeth, bone and soft tissue. Attorney Stephen M. Passen of Passen & Powell secured a $1 million settlement for his client.
