$4 Million Settlement involving Chicago Medical Malpractice – Failure to Diagnose Life Threatening Blood Disease – Leading to Wrongful Death
The case involved the death of a 41 year old mother of three children who presented to the hospital with a life threatening blood condition known as thrombotic thrombocytopenia, which should have been recognized and immediately treated by therapy known as plasma pheresis which, if administrated in a timely matter, would have likely saved her life.
